In February 2007, we are hearing
many reports of long waiting lists for tanks for some manufacturers.
We are proud to say that though we have had times of little stock we
are mostly able to deliver tanks within the
month of order. Obviously this is not something we can
always guarantee, especially with the continuing plastic shortage, but
it is something we work hard at ensuring we keep our customers happy.

In
January 2007,
there is currently an Australia wide
shortage of polyethylene,
the raw material, so we envision that the range of colours may
be limited in the near future until the supplies are back to normal.
The demand of water tanks is very high yet the supply of raw material
is limited. Polyethylene is still the only food grade material
recommended by the Australian Standards for water stoarge. It is the
same plastic as what the 2 litre milk bottles are made from! |
