Rebates are common with government bodies encouraging people to be water wise. Rebate amounts & conditions vary according to your council/shire/water board. Sydney Water is offering a rebate to all customers with pre-existing homes upon the purchase and installation of water tanks above 2,000 litres. This incentive is available until at least July 2008. When you purchase a water tank from Coastline Plastics you may pick up a form direct from us. Conditions are mentioned fully on the Sydney Water website but in a nutshell you need a minimum 2,000 litre capacity tank (combined capacities seem to qualify too! eg two 2,000 litre wall liner tanks = 4,000 litres qualifying for $400 rebate.

The best value tank for the rebate is our 4,300 litre tank. You get back around 40% of the purchase price of the tank depending on where you live! You do not need a plumber to install a tank in your back yard just for watering your garden and/or washing your car. The rebate is paid back to you after the purchase and installation of the tank. A inspector from the water board may come to ensure you do have a tank. Though a handy person can install any of our tanks, a licensed plumber is required when you hook up your tank to any Mains water eg Sydney Water pipe work such as your toilet, washing machine, shower etc. Copyright 2007 Coastline Plastics.
